We were an adult family in 3 rooms so the romantic atmosphere was wasted on us ! The rooms were of excellent standard, very comfortable. Staff friendly and informative. Only downsides, no way to make own hot drinks in room; hot breakfasts not included(and pricey); and no hot water for showers till after 7.30-we were leaving early. |

Well appointed bedroom, good food, and pleasant staff. Large bar area which is unfortunately painted a dark green throughout. |

Staff pleasant and the bar food was very good. The room was a good size and in good condition other than the wardrobe that was teetering on collapse. Bathroom was a little too en suite for my liking. Overall quite good until the following morning and breakfast. To be honest I was leaving early but the breakfast buffet was in a darkened room with a few cereal boxes in a bowl. I could not see any milk, fruit juice, tea nor coffee. No staff other than a new chef who was arriving as I was departing. Hopefully the chef got in to the kitchen as he could not get in as I was leaving. Shame really if they sorted out the morning it wouldn't be a bad place to stay. That said I paid for B&B and I only got the bed so I won't be using it again. |

My first stay at the Miller and what a lucky find.... Paid less than half the standard rate and got upgraded for good measure. The service was relaxed but professional, the room was simply gorgeous with a lovely bathroom, big fluffy duvet and bath robe, etc. Real highlight of the stay, however, was the food.... Had the set menu in the restaurant and ate 3 courses plus goodies - all homemade apparently - for £19.95. With a glass of house wine to top it off my bill was still under £25 and under my allowance! I'll stay again! |
