The hotel was fine. Nice and close to the Main station and an easy 10-15 minutes into the historic centre along the High St. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We had to stay an extra night in Antwerp and they were very good about us changing our plans and staying on another night. No complaints at all aside from the weather, which they can hardly be blamed for! |

When we arrived the girl on check in got half-way through checking us in before taking a lengthy phone call to a friend and ignoring us. Although our room initially seemed okay we woke in the morning to realise that we had been bitten all over by mosquitoes and the hairdryer didn't work. When we reported this to reception they said that the room would be sprayed during the day and that the hairdryer would be fixed. Neither of these things had happened when we came back at 9:30 pm and I was forced to kill 7 mosquitoes (all fat with blood so the same ones that had bitten us the previous night) before we could sleep. |
