FOIVOS HOTEL

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights as it was close to the Port as we had caught a ferry over to Athens. We booked a non smoking, twin room. It was a clean room, although it smelt of smoke. The appearance was quite nice, it had a 4 post bed with scarfs drapped over it with cute side lamps. Luckly we didn't mind sharing a bed, i dont think they do twin at all. As nice as the room was it kind of gave you a horrible feeling as it had a condom machine outside the room on the wall and also had about 4 free adult channels. The post of the bed covered the tv so we had to sleep at the other end of the bed if we wanted to view the tv. The bathroom was clean, the shower was tiny, could barely fit in and im not a large person and it was on a slope which we found odd. There is also a step into the bathroom which we tripped on a few times. We didn't have much of a view just streets and houses. It looked like a creepy area as we drove in (at night)but in the day it wasn't so bad. Its reasonably close to the metro and easy to get to port or athens by metro. The receptionist spoke reasonably well (english) and was polite. The lift is EXTREMELY small, my friend and i both had backpacks on and we only just were able to close the door. We spent 55 euro a night but after sleeping in camp sites and on ferries it was lovely to have a bed.

Simple, clean basic rooms. Nothing flash but asbolutely acceptable. Staff were excellent
