    The hotel was fine although the room was small. It was all ok - clean and modern - but nothing special. The best thing was the location.

    We did walk past the hotel at first (it was late) but it was an excellent location, just off the top of the Ramblas. We went room only so we could try local food. Room was a good size on the 8th floor but had frosted windows which we didn't like. A1 bus from airport good means of getting from and to airport. Watch out for surcharges for eating outside, some places it was negligible but others it was per item and a rip off (we thought). Couldn't recommend sightseeing bus, took ages to get anywehere because of traffic. We liked Matmala just round the corner from hotel, it was a deli, bar and restaurant and what we had was excellent. We found the locals to be very friendly.
