The room was a small box-room with the bathroom being almost bigger than the room itself. Felt like a student dorm with a strange stairway at the entrance. Bizarre.
The look of the building on the outside looks very dated, but the inside of hotel has been updated and looks lovely.
The best thing about the room was the breakfast in the morning, we were expacing a big bowl of cornflakes in a corner with milk, but it was a full english, self service, with pleanty of choice of cereals, toast, coffee or tea, and orange juice.

Male bar staff on arrival was very good. Female staff who checked us out in the morning was uninterested, sloppy with no personality. Did not sleep all night as all you could feel on the bed were the springs! Shower was not very good and soaked the bathroom as the door opened the wrong way.

Don't expect luxury, but better value for money will be hard to find.
