I was very disappointed with this hotel. The reviews had led me to expect a nice hotel. Reality, I'm afraid, was very different. On arrival the hall was cluttered with rubbish and the carpet leading to our room was filthy. On the way to our bedroom you could see that all the walls were grubby. The room itself was very small for the price we paid. It just about fitted the double bed in it. Really it was a single room. The door to the bathroom opened onto the bed so it was a squeeze to get in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very small and had an uncovered light bulb next to the shower cubicle (against the law surely?). The bedroom carpet was in a disgusting state and the blinds were broken and couldn't be opened. The room's furniture was a collection of odds and ends - none of which were really fit for purpose. Not a good experience I'm afraid and somewhat at odds with other reviews. |
