Whether you’re visiting Bath on business or taking a break, we aim to make your visit memorable for quality rooms at reasonable rates, high service levels and an aura of relaxed ease and comfort. We offer sound advice on Bath’s shopping, sight seeing and eating out.
Each of our rooms has recently been refurbished and decorated with designer fabrics and high quality bed coverings; all of which adds to the relaxed, cosy, yet stylish atmosphere of the Crescent. Each room is equipped with television, tea and coffee-making facilities and a hair dryer, and most rooms have fabulously comfortable antique French beds.
We are proud to offer you a traditional, cooked to order farmhouse breakfast made from ingredients such as local free-range eggs, hand made Lincolnshire pork sausages and lightly cured bacon from a nearby farm. For vegetarians we provide a range of delicious options like scrambled eggs, field mushrooms and vine tomatoes. We also offer as much wholemeal toast, preserves, cereals, juice and freshly brewed coffee and tea as you can manage!
It seems we've accidentally created a breakfast party atmosphere at the Crescent with lots of laughter, travel story swapping and much chatting long after breakfast is over.
There's very little that's 'too much trouble' at the Crescent. We pride ourselves on offering a highly personalised service to each of our guests and we have a lot of laughs too, particularly over breakfast.
We're quite happy to make taxi, theatre and restaurant bookings for you and to advise you on local attractions, eateries and entertainment upon arrival.

The first night we were put in a corner room (no 3) which had very little room and was at the front - noisy and needed the window open as it was a humid night. We mentioned this at breakfast and Rita moved us into a larger, quieter room at the back with minimum fuss. She even moved our stuff as we needed to go out that morning. She was really helpful, chatty and informative. Breakfast good. Would come again. It was expensive @ £90/night and closer to a 3/4 star hotel rate but on comparison, Bath is simply pricey wherever you look so we did well at fairly short notice. She also has money off vouchers for restaurants too so pick them up before you go out (we lost out on 25% off at La Strada!)
