Brand new luxury self-catering, 2 bed apartment, tastefully furnished, with secure underground parking and video intercom access to the complex. The apartment is situated adjacent to the new 18 hole Calanova Golf Course, just five minutes drive to La Cala beach and two minute walk to the nearest golf club.
The resorts of Fuengirola, Benalmadenas, Calahonda and Marbella are a short drive away, and with over 320 days of lovely sunshine and miles upon miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches this is ideal for families seeking relaxation away from the busy tourist areas.
La Cala is a charming fishing village with a new plaza which houses numerous shops, cafe's, Tapas bars, English style sports bars and restaurants which appeal to every taste. There are numerous banks, currency exchanges and a large supermarket in the plaza. The long beach is well cared for , clean, soft and golden sand with sun beds and parasols for rental. There is also is a local outdoor market at La Cala, where you can buy local home grown fruit and veg and browse for bargains.
There is an abundance of good quality water sports and recreational facilities in an around La Cala. Tennis club "Club del Sol" welcomes all comers as does the lawn bowls centre at Miraflores. There are also gymnasiums, dive centres within minutes of the village.
Although the complex is on a golf course there are other numerous golf courses in the region El Chaperel, La Cala, Santana and numerous others.
The Mijas Hippodrome, (a racetrack) is situated a few km's from La Cala which has meetings every week and includes lots of entertainment around the course. Anyone visiting Mijas will of course want to wander through the beautiful, whitewashed mountain Pueblo to enjoy the spectacular views.
There are numerous organised trips to Morocco, Gibraltar Rhonda etc available to book within the village area.

Calanova Sea Golf lies just 20 minutes from Málaga International Airport and a short drive from the resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola on the Mijas Costa, in the heart of the Costa del Sol. Its unique location in the ¨Golf Valley¨ surrounded by sports and recreational ammenities, makes it one of the prime choices of the area. The 18 hole golf course was designed by World Champion golfer Manuel Piñero.

No curtains on the clear bathroom windows. Got round this by using bin liners and sticky tape. No access to car park - able to park on the road although there are white lines on the side of the road. Lovely views to the sea and beautifully kept grounds and pool area.

This was a brand new apartment accordingly offered excellent value for money in a quiet area overlooking golf course 6-7 minutes from the sea and shops / supermarket / bars etc. Nice pool but rather deep and definately not suitable for young children. Regrettably at time of visit there was no TV in apartment - hope this is being rectified - however did have cd/radio. This is a very quiet area - be warned !!! Altogether a great relaxing time with excellent views towards coast. Recommended - would visit again.

This is a very new apartment overlooking Cala Nova golf course with a beautiful view. A huge balcony with 2 single beds and a double bed. It has 3 swimming pools of which there was never anyone there. So a quiet place to relax. A car is essential as there is nothing unless you fancy a 45 minte walk to the local town. We played golf and all local courses are a 15-20 minute car journey away. I wouldn't have a moments hesitation using this apartment again especiallly at the price we paid and the price they are been sold for.

The apartment was new and well presented, large rooms and nice views. Location is very isolated on top of a hill, with no shops or restaurants anywhere near. A car is essential and location was not suitable for children and nothing here. The apartments were all empty and we were the only people in the complex, we spent our first night stuck in the lift which got stuck between floors, with nobody to rescue us until morning. There was a lot of construcition and we had lots of problems with large amouts of dust everywhere. The price was good valueat £35 per night.
