I had to wait for over 5 minutes for a fried egg, due to the chef not being at his station on both mornings. They charge full price for breakfasy £15.95 and tea & toast is self service. I have received breakfast at a far lower cost with far higher levels of service. I had to wait for over 10 minutes at reception in a queue of 6 people on the first morning of my stay, just to change a car parking ticket. I left my buisiness card with reception for the duty manager to call me, as I was unhappy, obviously the duty manager had far more important things to worry about than guest's happyness! The car park is too far from the hotel and poorly signposted. The leisure facilities are from the 80's, the sauna was too hot, dark & claustrophobic, the steam room has garden chairs, and the steam contained too much chemical causing me too cough continuously. And the pool walkway area was being 'bleached' & 'washed' whilst guests were present. I spend a lot of time in hotels around the country, and this is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in for some time. I will NEVER recommend this or any other PENTA hotel to associates, friends and colleagues.
