Having only booked the hotel 4 hours before I arrived and only needing to stay for 12 hours, I was very pleasantly surprised. The double room rate was only £99 and this represented great value for money - my room was very clean, well appointed, efficient room service with good food and very comfortable bed. I have often paid 3 times as much for a room that has not been as good. |

The room was a good size and very clean and the hotel is ideally placed for King's Cross and St Pancras stations. Unfortunately, we had a terrible night's sleep owing to intrusive, thudding music. The staff were unable to work out where it was coming from until it was discovered it was a loudspeaker in the unused dining area below our room. Another member of staff had to be contacted as he was the only one who knew how to turn it off! Got back to sleep at 2.30AM. |

Big room, nicely kept, large bathroom. I was off the street, so no noise issues as reported by other posters - but I think the tradeoffs would be worthwhile even if it were a bit noisy, given the sheer convenience of the location (Kings Cross/St Pancras directly across the street, eastern Bloomsbury 'behind') and at least the LateRooms price. Very good service both at check-in and at check-out. |
