This was an Alice in Wonderland meets the Adams Family sort of hotel experience. We stayed two nights. If you are claustrophic this is not the hotel for you. Our room was barely bigger than the bed and the ceiling was lower than a 15th century pub but apart from those inconveniences the hotel was clean and had all the fittings of a reasonable hotel including a clean and modern bathroom and other amenities. This hotel is in a good location.

Only complaint would be that the breakfast "hot buffet" was cold on both days

Good quality of refurbishment, room decoration, linen and furntiure. Staff helpful. Room typical of size experienced in this area. Very clean.
Noise of unit outside bedroom constant throughout night and room very hot - better with air con off!
Bed comfortable, shower room high quality - full size bath sheet towels with deep pile.
