Excellent location - very short walk to Roman Baths. Bus station opposite is a bit noisy but it didn't bother us. Parking very convenient. Apartment is spacious and very well laid out. Excellent for a family with lots of stuff! Ample comfy chairs. Beds good. Kitchen well equipped. Highly recommended.

Positives - Very good location. Easy walk to the Roman Baths and heart of the city. Spacious apartment with view of river. Dedicated off street parking across street. Plenty of soap, toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, towels, etc. Agent or landlord very accomodating and prompt. Lots of storage and places to put your things. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels were nice. Dining room table and chairs for six very nice. Bathrooms were a little dated but clean. Apartment appeared to be recently painted. Has a lift.
Negatives - Apartment smelled enough that air freshners that were all over the apartment didn't mask odor. Carpet was very old and worn. I was concerned that the smell was from the carpet and therefore did not want my children playing on it. Kitchen had so many pots, pans and utinsels that I believe it difficult to clean to the level necessary after every stay. Also, there was a shelf of opened condiments in the kitchen, that some people may be appreciative of, but made me feel like we were in someone else's house with their stuff. Apartment is across from a bus station so it is a little noisy. The sofa that has a throw covering over it apparently has worn springs and and is terribly uncomfortable. Leather loveseat had a tear at top, but comfortable enough. Apartment could be very good with some changes.
