Great value b&b, room for 3 was quite cozy but adequate. Easy access to Bath, lovely village location. Owners are courteous and helpful if somewhat reticent. Would certainly stay again. |

Before we arrived we were asked by the Proprietors to call 30 minutes before arrival. We did this only to find the number was not being answered. We ended up having to ask a neighbour if they knew how to get hold of the proprietors. We did this successfully and then were told by them where to find our keys "around the side in an envelope on the window ledge". This could have been explained to us by the Proprietors before we actually arrived at the cottage. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. |

My wife and I stayed at Garston Cottage for one night on a weekend away to Bath. You need your own car as Bathford is a few miles out of Bath, which we knew when we booked it. The room was generally clean and tidy but we did notice cob webs on the ceiling. Otherwise, it was clean. The Breakfast was very good. Continental or cooked breakfast and seemed to be plenty of it. Very quiet area with no street noise. Bed was comfortable enough. |

I was shocked to find nobody at home. When I rang the proprietor told me that they expected me to call 30 min utes before arrival and they would be there to greet me as it was the keys left out in an envelope. The room and bedding was looking tired. The breakfast was good and the proprietor helped us with a shortcut to Bath university which saved us time in the morning. |
