very comfortable hotel, our room had obviously been refurbished and we were given the use of 2 connecting rooms as a family room giving loads of space and 2 bathrooms. Friendly, polite staff and an excellent breakfast. |

This bed and breakfast did say it had been refurbished, and so it had. All the character of a victorian building had been knocked out! After a five minute wait at the door to be admitted, we found that our 3 bedded room wasn't available. My 11 year old son had to stay with his elder brother 3 miles away. Good job we were visiting family as we had travelled just short of 277 miles to get there! |

The man was very nice who checked me in. Showed me room etc. Went for breakfast next morning and waited over 30 mins, didn't even receive coffee. When I told the lady I had to go or else I would be late for my meeting, she snapped at me by saying 'I'm covering the front desk and kitchen, I'm doing my best'! Very rude. |
