Kath and Roy Hamilton, the new owners, welcome you to The Patricia, centrally located in the heart of Torquay, South Devon. As Resident Proprietors, we pride ourselves in offering you a very warm welcome and aim to make your stay with us one you will want to repeat time and time again. The Patricia is a Victorian terrace with many of the original features of the house being retained. All of our attractive bedrooms are ensuite and have all of the facilities that you would expect from four star guest accommodation. We are ideally situated within walking distance of the main seafront, Harbour and town centre and a short distance from many local attraction

Leave the M5 at Junction 31 and join the A380. Follow the signs to Torquay through Newton Abbot and Kingkerswell. At the Torquay seafront, turn left at the traffic lights and again at Torre Abbey Sands. Take first left into Belgrave Road - the Patricia is approx 600 yards on your left just after the junction. The railway and coach stations are also both close by.

This is an excellent guesthouse and well worth the money. My room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The owners couldn't do enough for me and made me feel very welcome. The breakfasts are freshly cooked and I was spoiled for choice. Wonderful to get you started for the day ahead. I decided to pay extra for dinner when I got there and I must say it puts my own cooking to shame. I would strongly recommend the food at the hotel...all freshly cooked and excellently prepared. I could not fault the food at all 6/6. The guesthouse provides lots of literature on things to do in the area plus Kath and Roy (the owners) also helped in recommending places to visit. The guesthouseis in a great location - 5mins from the beach. All in all an excellent guesthouse and would recommend to anyone. Have already booked again for September.

Hotel was ok but shower in room was small. Found a good eating place down by harbour called Man Fridays, £11.95 for 3 courses and managed all 3 courses once, food was excellent as was service.
