NB's is a lovely warm and friendly guest house in the merchiston area of edinburgh. It is about 1 mile south of Princes Street and takes just 20 minutes to walk to the centre or catch a bus right outside and be there in 5 minutes. Buses run every 5 minutes most days and night buses run too. We can offer lots of sight seeing advice and organise sight seeing tours all over scotland. At Nb's we aim to ensure you have the most relaxing and pleasurable break possible. You will find your room immaculately clean, always warm and lovely gold and red furnishings and decor. Plus black out roman blinds and very good quality beds ensure a most deep and relaxing sleep. There is wifi available for very small charge. Parking must be pre booked and is £5.00 a day. Sadly we can't guarentee spaces but usually it is fine. We are totally non smoking. We accept all card types and there is no charge for all debit cards but is a 2.5% charge on credit/amex cards. We really hope you decide to stay with us at NB'S and look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh.

The shower was poor quality, a slow trickle of hot water, needs updating I think. Otherwise, it was lovely.

Very friendly welcoming staff, room was a bit small and door to the ensuite didn't close properly but good overall. Nice and close to city centre.

Spent a long weekend away enjoying the sights of Edinburgh, so didn't spend a huge amount of time in the hotel. But for the cost it was perfectly adequate, although nothing special. Room was a bit cold and hot water supply either didn't come through or took a long time to get to us. Shower could also have been better. But saying that the staff that we came across were friendly and helpful, the room was a good size and clean and well decorated, with a nice view across the city. The hotel was about a 10-15 min walk outside the city centre, and a 5 minute bus ride which was great. So for the cost I would definately recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonable, no frills stay in Edinburgh.
