On the Late Rooms site the hotel is classed as 5* Having previously stayed in 5* accommodation I would have expected much more than was provided. There was no pool, sauna, jaccuzi or whirlpool. No robe, slippers, fruit, chocolates, drinking chocolate, sewing kit, body lotion,or any of the little luxuries which are normally provided in 5* hotels. I would class the hotel as 3* accommodation |

Very friendly. Very accommodating. Never treated me as a third-rate guest despite the fact I was only paying €60 for the night. Excellent value for money in a quaint locale. I would definitely stay here again. |

Deeply, deeply disappointed: a) the term 'spa' implied 'spa-type' services; there were none; b) the advertisement does not mention the hotel is located within the Lucan Bypass Roadworks: 30 minute standing traffic jam to get in, 10 minute jam to exit; c) the room was dirty and we had to ask for cleaning staff to remove unpleasantdebris off the wall closest our bed; d) breakfast was poorly cooked, poorly presented (we went elsewhere on Day 2), and served by two extremely grumpy waitresses. Never again |
