This is a great hotel for people on a budget, especially if you want somewhere in the town centre and/or near Liverpool University. The staff were very friendly and the room was absolutely fine - comfy bed, little amenities like plenty of teabags and little biscuits etc. Really nice breakfast too. I had a room without ensuite and for most rooms you probably do have to go up or downstairs to get to the bathroom, so I'd factor that in if you're booking a room like this. Also, there's quite a lot of stairs to climb for the top rooms so if stairs might be a problem I'd make sure you book on the lowest floor. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. |

Some one had smoked heavily in the room before, not the hotels fault and difficult for them to get rid of the smell. As i was in late and away first thing in the morning not to much of a problem. |

Staff were very helpful and willing - was a little disappointed to find that no evening meals were available - but maybe that was me not looking clearly enough on booking. Room was fantastic and location was great only 5-10 minutes walk into the centre of the city - definately on my 'book again' list. |
