The hotel is fine if you want a reasonable cheap accommadation a short walk to the town centre. However, the lack of a restaurant is a downer for the business traveller, especially in frozen december. However I did find a place a 10 min drive away for dinner, but to walk into town on a bitterly cold night not for me. The breakfast however was very good. Unfortunetely the walls are very thin in this hotel, and the snoring from the room next door did keep me awake, or was it the tv from upstairs, or was it the traffic noise from the main road outside, i not sure, but certainly I was woken by the jolly sound of laughter by the ladies in the kitchen/reception who were clearly happy in there work. Apart from that and the very noisy fan in the bathroom, the place was clean and the ok, but one night was enough and next week when I pass through again, i will be staying somewhere else. |

Incredibly friendly and happy staff - I travel the world 50% of my business life staying in 5* hotels and I dont meet such friendly staff. It is a warm and homely place to stay. The hotel is ideally located for Salisbury centre with parking and internet which is a huge plus. The full english breakfast is cracking I would certainly recommend it and of course staying there! |

It was ok, but the room was small and they provided no shower gel, shampoo etc. The shower was a bit rubbish. The room was very noisy as you could hear noises form next door and rooms below. It didn't feel very private as you could hear everything. The staff were very nice, the location was good and the breakfast delicious :o) |
