The George Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Shipston on Stour. Ideally located for visitors to Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and the Cotswolds.
The hotel reopened in February 2007 following a programme of comprehensive refurbishment and became an instant hit with locals and visitors alike.
The relaxed atmosphere combined with the gorgeous décor, great food and fabulous staff has proven a recipe for success and we pride ourselves on making your visit the best we possibly can.

How to find the George Hotel – Shipston on Stour, from Oxford Services, M40 At roundabout take the first exit onto the A418, signposted Oxford. Branch left then merge onto the A40. Stay in right hand lane and at the Headington roundabout, continue straight over, signposted ring road and the Midlands. Continue straight. At Cutteslowe roundabout, take the second exit on the A40, signposted Cheltenham and ring road. Continue straight, at Wolvercote roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A44, signposted ring road, Evesham and the Midlands. Continue straight, at Woodstock East roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A44, signposted Evesham. Continue straight, at Look Farm roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A44, signposted Evesham and Woodstock. At next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A44, signposted Evesham and Stratford. At Southcombe junction, continue forward onto the A3400, signposted Stratford. At next roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A3400, signposted Stratford. At the one-way system follow signs chipping Camden onto West Street, B4035. Turn right onto the High Street, arrive at hotel.
