We thought we had found a gem we would be returning to often in the future. This hotel is ideally situated with picturesque views and we were given a warm welcome by Matthew, who remained attentive throughout our 2 night stay. The room had a superb view, the bed was comfortable, but the cleanliness and furniture left a lot to be desired. The evening meal was very enjoyable, however the cooked breakfast was cold. |

very friendly staff, hotel lookes like it had just been refurbished. Food excellent, value for money. A little out of the way from Keswick, a £10 taxi ride otherwise cannot fault hotel or location. |
