lovely hotel, 15 min on bus to city centre and buses run until 4.30am!! very good amenities and room was immaculate, bed was v comfy and massive! shower blew away all cobwebs from my head the following morning! would like to have seen a standard to compare our executive to. room could have been warmer tho and that is my only complaint. |

Accommodation was good, clean and staff were friendly. The only draw back for me is that they allow pets, so it wasnt so good being woke up all through the night with a dog barking next door. I will not be returning due to this as it ruined my stay!! |

Excellent value. Room only basis, which was great because you didn't have to stick to a "timetable" Ate in Bistro a couple of times, initially made the mistake of sitting in the bar, then realised we were sitting under the TV. Discovered this when I realised everyone was looking at us. Initially asked a barman if we would be better through the other side of the bar, but he said there weren't any tables and we would be better where we were. Still felt uncomfortable and asked a barmaid again if there weren't any tables. She was more understanding and took myself and my mother (83) through to the Bistro which was much better for us. This was the only negative experience of the stay. Receptionist Michelle was excellent and very helpful - even helped us out to the car with luggage when leaving. Gave great advice about travelling by bus and seemed genuinely interested in our "exploits". |
