Base - Pall Mall Serviced Apartments

A fantastic apartment at a fantastic price. Brilliant value for money. In a great location and everything you need in the apartment for a comfortable stay. The apartment is a fair walk from where you collect your keys but easy enough to reach if travelling by car. Just one small complaint; we were told to ensure we drop our key off by 11 the next morning but weren't told they didn't open till 10. Waiting around for 45 minutes with a hangover wasn't a great end to a pleasing stay. So be warned! Otherwise, much better than a conventional hotel stay.

on arrival was told we were not stopping at these apartments but were moved to another at other side of town no notification of this until we arrived. very unsatisfactory situation would not stop with this group again

The apartment I booked was of an amazing standard. It was immaculate and very well decorated with carpets throughout. The kitchen and bathroom areas were fabulous. It was a short walk away from the business area of the city which suited my visit. It was located just out of the main area and so it wasn’t too noisy, yet still close enough to be able to enjoy the local bars and restaurants. The building itself required a fob to enter and so I felt secure staying there alone. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will be using this apartment regularly when I have business meetings in the area.

The accomodation was not as specified in your booking form, i.e. there was not ensuite room and the was not a dishwasher. The plates were badly chipped and there was only 2 stools at the breakfast bar (for 4 people) and the balcony seats were broken.
The customer service were not sure about lifts or where the rooms were in the building, because it was remote from their office.
