Although the room could have been a little cleaner, it was quite nice and it was good to have the mini-bar. My main objection would be to the quality of the food. We had dinner the night we stayed and the quality was pretty poor. The tandoori chicken was appaling. The cooked breakfast was also pretty poor. |

Great hotel, great location. The only thing to be aware of is the leisure facilities are busy. |

Pleasantly surprised with the room, complimentary chocolate on pillows, 2 small bottles of red wine and a cheese platter awaited us, this was a lovely touch. I likd the little extras like the dressing gowns too. Breakfast was lovely and the staff on duty were very friendly. I had a 'large' glass of white wine at the bar which was a Very pricey £6.99, there was limited seating too. Overall though, I couldnt fault the hotel and would definitely go back and would recommend highly. |

Breakfast were the only meals we partook of in the hotel. Because the breakfast was so bad we did not have any other meals there. Food was not hot. No brown bread on any of the days which did not impress my wife at all. On the sunday morning breakfast was served in the secondary dining area. Food was stored in mobile heat containers and was cold. Had to ask for items to be topped up. On the monday in the main eating area I asked the cook/chef behind the counter for pork saussages and was told very curtly that only beef available. (take it or leave it). This was the only instance of poor staff interaction on our visit. We felt that the staff were very friendly in all depts. The quality of food is all that would put us off going back to this hotel again. We also feel that the hotel should make a contribution to the multi-story car park at the back and have this as their carpark. This would enhance a possible booking. The local cinema has an arrangement with them. |

Food got a score of 4 - but this relates more to the availability rather than quality (food itself was good). For example, "basics" like bread, milk and apple juice ran out at breakfast on both days, and we had to wait a considerable time for stocks to be replenished (eg. frozen bread). Staff were helpful, and appeared busy, so having them get things from the kitchen took time. We ate breakfast by installments! |
