Our room was on the tope floor and was very warm (late July but not exceptionally hot weather). Restaurant appeared expensive so we did not use it at all. the bar staff were extremely friendly. |

It was very difficult to find the hotel as we were going by car from Aberdeen. We made two calls to reception to find the way. |

The fact that this hotel was booked online and at a reduced rate, we were moved to a town house across the road from the main building. The reception was very old and dated and in need of a good clean and paint. The romm size was ok but again very dated and didn't look the cleanest. Very quiet in the night, no noise but the rad in the bathroom was on full and made in very uncomfortable even when the window was open. About 15 min walk from the centre of town. Is room is only worth £69 per night. |

The hotel was very easy to get to after arriving at Haymarket Station, not even a 5 minute walk. The bar and restaurant seemed popular with other guests however we did not use these. Customer Service was excellent, the reception staff were very polite and helpful when we decided to leave our luggage on our last day. The room was in good condition especially after reading a previous review where the guests were not so pleased. we could not fault it. However, i would not pay the full standard price for this room at approx £200, having stayed in mezzanine suites in glasgow for a much smaller £140. At the laterooms price of £89 however this was a good deal, especially as the central travel lodge was only £4 cheaper! |

Given it was a Hilton hotel I thought that it would be rather nice, unfortunately although part of the Hilton Group this was a huge dasappointment. There are 2 parts to the hotel, this being the older run down one. There is no bar or dining facilities in this hotel and we only saw another 2 guests for the duration of our stay, the wallpaper was peeling of the walls and the room itself has seen better days. I consider myself to be a rather happy-go-lucky traveller however for the £100 it cost I would have had a much better experience in a Travel Inn or elsewhere. One wonders if people who booked this through late rooms at a discount price were put in this hotel. |
