Lovely hotel, with a great location (if you want to go into burton for the night its a cheap taxi ride), it is an old tudor framed pub/hotel, there is no loud music or kareoke so if you want an early night then you won't get woken up, we stayed on a saturday night and din't hear a peep not even from traffic outside. The room was large with the decor reflecting the period of the building, as the building is very old the floor was rather uneven in the room which made life a little interesting after a few drinks! Niether my partner or myself had any complaints, we had our evening meal down stairs in the pub and the food was great, real value for money. I would highly recommend tyhis hotel and if i'm in the area again would stay here. |

Hotel have changed room numbers so confused as no room 7 !!!! on wall directions. Restaurant order taken wrong through lack of training. Charged £89 for room on my invoice but above says £79 ?Part of the young staffing and no senior mng present. However still very nice across the whole package |

This hotel was so full of charm that you don't get with many new buildings. The rooms appeared to be recently refurbished and were of a good standard. The restaurant downstairs served good food at reasonable prices, and the service was friendly and efficient in the evenings. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel. |
