This is a simply fantastic place to stay and I will not hesitate to go back there. I cannot actually think of one thing to complain about and I am a natural whinger normally. The grounds are fantastic, great pub about 5 mins walk away in the village. The food was outstanding, the staff courteous, helpful and friendly. The room was very traditional yet smart and crisp. I loved it so much, I bought the company....... if you know what I mean. Stay here, you won't regret it. |

This hotel is beautiful, it's a typical Old English setting, the decor has recently been refurbished, and has been tastefully updated with the 'old fashioned' feel about it. Full of good quality furnishings, beautiful solid oak floors and chandaliers. It's exceptionally clean, the room I stayed in had a great view of the grounds, with a lovely spacious bathroom. It should be more clearly sign posted, as I had difficulty finding it, that would be my only negative comment. |
