Our 4 people room (1 double bed + 1 sofa) was very nice, enough space. The hotel position is excellent. The bathroom in our room was the kind for disaabled people, less confortable, but OK. |

There is nothing really to excite or to offend about this hotel. It ticks all the right boxes and its position to the main sites in Edinburgh is excellent. It is particularly convenient if travelling without a car, as all relevant bus and train connections are within a short walk. The only disappointment is the lack of an effective means to warm croissants at breakfast. Surely this is an easy problem to overcôme! |

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the level of the facilities (despite the small size of the room) for the price with the free internet and newspaper, together with the complimentary healthy and comprehensive breakfast buffet. Our room was clean, and the hotel was conveniently located in the old section of the city near the Royal Mile and the other attractions. The members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly value for money. |
