Seems to be one person running this hotel, he was friendly and helpful. Just stayed one night travelling to London and back on train. Room nice size not like hotel room more like mini apartment. Room very hot though heating not on. It did for one night but things needing updating and repairing. Was noisy as room was near front of building and hotel aparment just off main road so lots of people coming back from the pub. Bed very comfy, bath towells way too small. |

This is an apartment hotel so expect some extras - kitchenette with pans, crockery, cutlery, glasses, microwave, fridge with small freezer - useful if you want to stay in and work rather than go out for a meal. However, it is newly opened and does not seem 'finished' yet. No sign above the front door and the entrance was very basic . Room was clean but lacked a bedside light. Young man who greeted me was charming and very helpful - even lent me his laptop when mine was not working - how's that for customer service! Busy street outside so expect people and traffic noise till late. Other residents return very late (1 to 2 am), banging doors and talking loudly. Target market is not single ladies and although the area and aparthotel were safe, I did not feel entirely at ease. |
