The Talk House is a delightful Inn, set in rural surroundings close to the historic city of Oxford. It's exposed beams and open fireplaces offer the visitor a warm and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy great food and Fuller's award winning beers.
The ideal place to 'get away from it all' and stay in one of our four recently refurbished, ground floor, annexe bedrooms. Perfect for either business or pleasure and for exploring the beautiful county of Oxfordshire with its' many places of interest.

Leave M40 at Junction 8 and join the A40 towards Oxford Cheltenham. Turn right into Merewood Avenue and at traffic lights turn right onto the A40 signposted Wycombe, London. Turn left into Main Street [signposted Forest Hill] and then turn left onto Stanton Road [B4027]. The Talk House is on the right hand side Nearest railway station is Oxford which is 10 miles away.

The Talk House is a traditional inn with a really nice atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the room was lovely. A good find and highly recommended.

The courtyard was very pleasant and the food really excellent. The pub was nice and the patron generous, friendly, and interesting. We would certainly return when next in Oxford.

The food was of extremely high quality, in a very pleasant restaurant. The staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly. I could not fault my stay.
