With 12 bedrooms, some of which have recently been refurbished to a very high standard retaining the character and original features of the property, but with the benefits of the twentieth century.

The central location directly at the river is certainly a plus.
Rooms are quite "individual" (OK, for those who like an old building).
One light in the bathroom was broken, ventilation made some noise
(I came very late, so I could only report this in the morning).
Breakfast was nice.

Hotel is in a great postion - easy access to town, great views. The room was good, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was good, plenty of options.

Great location, less than 10 mins walk from the centre of Oxford. Yummy breakfast and friendly staff. Great place to relax by the river.

Lovely location. Breakfasts were very poor. First morning I ordered scrambled egg - it was solid and lumpy- inedible. Others around me with scrambled egg left theirs too. Second morning the toast was bearly toasted, it was really only hot bread and I ordered the continental breakfast - bread with a selection of cheeses. I got a roll with one piece of goats cheese and 3 different types of cold meat????
I think that this hotel should remember that guests want a good breakfast on their hol and not one that seems to have been made by the maid who tidies your room ( although she would probably have done a better job)
At this price there are hotels with much better quality breakfasts and lets face it most guests only use their room to sleep in
