Very friendly. We stayed in the twin room (room 3) which was very comfortable. Modern, clean and well equipped with tea/coffee making, TV and a nice en-suite shower room.
Great personal service with the landlady kindly walking us to the accommodation which is round the corner from the pub (nice and quiet) despite it being very dark and pouring with rain.
The evening meal was lovely with a good choice of starters and mains including game and various fresh fish dishes. We were also very impressed with the cheese menu.
Breakfast was again delicious and nicely presented.
We hope to return around the same time next year. This was a birthday treat for me and my sister following a luxurious day of pampering at the nearby CenterParcs Longleat Forest (about 20 minutes drive away). We would recommend the Vobster to our friends.

Finding this hotel was like finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, though you might need a sat-nav to get there. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The reception was warm and friendly. The food is of Michelin star quality, as long as you dont arrive on a Monday, when the restaurant and bar are closed.

Lovely country Inn. Located in a peaceful English hamlet. We were visiting Longleat over two days and this was the perfect stopover. (Approx 15 mins away) We stayed in the twin room which was very clean with modern furnishings. The food is magnificent and the owners are very friendly. A real traditional country pub. Would stay here again if in the area and will recommend to friends.
