Wanslea is an all en-suite AA 4 star guest house. Luxury themed rooms are also available with wide screen TVs king size beds and en-suite spa bathrooms. We have been featured in the 'Times' reccomended by the Lake District Guide and are in the AA best B & B Guide. Advice is always available from where to eat to walking the fells. We are just five minutes walk from the village centre and three to four minutes walk from the lake. Wanslea is non smoking.

We absolutely loved out stay. We were made to feel very welcome, we had clean comfortable accommodation. We would definately recommend the Wanslea and stay again Thank you

Host was very friendly and helpful, waiting up for us very late. Rock'n'roll theme room was fun. Very handy locaton for Ambleside and Windermere. Will stay here again.

Good quality guest house in a great position for walking to Lakeside and to Ambleside. The only down side was the traffic noise, being on the main road
