ST LUKE'S Apartment

A double bed that was broken and unsleepable on ,had to sleep on sofa, we did not realise bed was broken until just before going to bed so there was no body to contact and sort it out as it was an apartment. The electricity blew a fuse which I could not reach, I rang the contact number given and had to sit in dark with no heating for hour and half, by that time my husband had gone out to a football math and returned he was tall enoough to reach it and turn it back on. Eventually had a call back from the message I had left re no power, from a lady, by then husband had sorted it, not much help. Would not recommend using this company again.
We have tried to complain to the office we got the key from, they said send and e-mail, which I did on Monday night after arriving back asking for some refund as no decent bed to sleep on, no response as yet. This was a two bed apartment the smaller bedroom and bed was fine used by our daughter, the apartment was clean and very presentable. We had booked it for our daughters graduation rasther than a hotel as was near to ceremony, the lack of sleep marred what was supposed to be an important event in our daughter's life.

very central, spacious with upstairs for the bedrooms with one ensuite room.
downstairs had the living room, these apartments are decorated very modernly. would definitely stay here again, as its well worth the money for a central location.

Certain expected basics were not in the apartment, including any pans, coathangers and most importantly, a towel. The flat is located in a scruffy and poorly- presented converted block and other occupants had left their rubbish outside their flat, which caused a smell. There is no door number on the apartment or clear way of finding it once inside. Access involved walkng past old doors. In fairness, when I complained, the proprietors produced towels, an iron, coathangers and pans. They did not resolve the absence of working heating in the bathroom, nor did anyone do anything about the rubbish, which is not the immediate responsibility of the owners of this flat. Strangely, since it would only cost about £30, they do not provide a microwave.

This was the worst experience I have ever had through Laterooms, I was given wrong keys, not shown to the apartment, given another set of keys to someone else's apartment! Walked into someone else's room luckily they were not in... then given the right keys but living room was dirty, no cooking equipment, No TV, CD player broken, hair shavings in the bathroom bin.. overall pretty disgusting. When spoke to reception was told apartment was 1* not 3* as advertised on laterooms. Great. Won't be staying here again.

when we arrived there was noone there to greet us, when went into room it was discusting there was the previous peoples food, cigeretts, pescription tablets and god knows what on the bed covers!
