Very impressed with this small hotel. Friendly owners who were very helpful even though I was the only person staying there that night. Would make an effort to go back there if I am passing through again. |

This small hotel is run by the kindest most obliging couple ... Our room was to be on the top floor and when I explained I find a lot of stairs difficult our host made up a room especially for us on the ground floor, the room was pretty, big and comfortable with really nice cotton sheets, plenty of towels and warm and quiet. When we came to breakfast in the morning we were amazed at the delicious selection of food laid out, and freshly baked breads and muffins arrived, fresh fruits and juices, muselis .. we had delicious poached country eggs and bacon made for us. This place is a hidden jewel and would be perfect for a longer stay, lots to see and do around Pitlochry, and an excellent restaurant at the nearby East Haugh house Hotel for dinner at night. I can't wait to go back! |

For the single traveller it was expensive, in that I was charged the full price of a double room (it would appear that had I booked direct, rather than through Late Rooms, that I might have had a reduction, if they had had a double room available, so it was a bit ambiguous). So for a single traveller it was expensive, but for a couple it would have been good value. Lovely guest lounge etc, and could not really be faulted apart from the price to the single traveller. I would have preferred ti have been offered fresh milk for the bedroom, which other B&Bs offer. I would stay their again if I had my wife with me, but not as a single traveller. |
