PRINSOTEL LA DORADA

A newly constructed 4 star apart-hotel opened in May 1997, the Prinsotel La Dorada has a wonderful position next to the “s´Albufera” nature reserve and only 200m. from the long sandy beach of the Bay of Alcudia.The complex consists of 4 apartment buildings with lifts, and 3 main buildings with air conditioned public rooms: a large entrance hall with reception and sitting room, dining room, conference room to seat approximately 50 people, games room and a large lounge bar with a stage for the daily entertainment evening program.In the centre of the complex, set amongst the gardens, there is a magnificent swimming pool of 1.500m2, a sunbathing terrace with sun-beds and parasols.
Money exchange, car, moped and bicycle hire are available in the reception. Near the complex there are supermarkets, souvenir shops and boutiques.

    Away from the busy end of the resort but still close enough for meals and day trips out. Far better than most of the similar priced but bog standard standard 'wannabe' classy hotels.
    Staff were great and going off the main season was great for the peace and quiet.

    We had room on ground floor so the view wasn't good and we didn't use the balcony.

    The hotel is located towards the National Park end of the Port Alcudia strip - for me this was good as was well away from the German and English pubs fish and chip shops. Very clean hotel, good rooms, excellent value as we booked the day we arrived using Late Rooms and got a great rate. You can eat in the resturant once, but then you'll want to go out and explore - get a car. Good clean beach just across the road (5 min walk).
