The hotel REALLY needs to make it clear that the dining room is CLOSED on a Sunday.
I booked a hotel rather than a B&B as I knew I'd be tired after a charity meeting on a Sunday and did not want to have to turn out and find somewhere to eat.
As the meeting dragged on towards 7pm I rang to let them know I wanted to eat in the dining room. I ended up at a Little Chef!
I could not find the information about the dining room closure ANYWHERE in the promotional literature either in printed adverts in brochures in the hotel or on its web site.
Apart from the the hotel was wonderful...and a good bargain at £50.

We arrived at Noon to explain that we would be returning after 9pm, they helpfully gave us a key but said that the abr would be shut at 8pm - surely not 3* standard.
We returned at 10 and found a large damp patch (4 foot circle) in fron of the bathroom door so we could not avoid it and had to be very careful on entering or leaving bathroom. No-one was around to enable us to change rooms.
B'fast had 1 very small piece of bacon and despite the menu offering baked beans they said they had run out - unbelievable.

I needed a room at short notice and found this to be exceptional value. I didnt arrive until near midnight so cannot comment on bar or food. Rom was spotless, very modern and comfortable furnishings. Perfect for a god nights sleep.
