Wheatlands Lodge, a four star property, located in the picturesque town of Windermere. Set in a quiet area just off Church Street (A591). Within walking distance of the train station, shops and restaurants. It is a traditional family owned and run Lake District residence, dating from around 1860 set in delightful gardens. The property has recently undergone a total refurbishment in 2007, introducing contemporary style, yet still retaining many of its original features. Wheatlands Lodge has the benefit of free on-site parking which is unique to this area considering the short walking distance to the main attractions of Lake Windermere. There are 9 bedrooms, each decorated with individual character, style and design. Elegantly appointed and spacious with all the latest fully co-ordinated fabrics and soft furnishings.All rooms are en-suite with either spa type Jacuzzi baths or walk in shower. Well equipped with tea-coffee facilities, flat screen television, hair dryers and radio. The dining area is delightfully decorated giving a light and airy feel, in the summer months guests can take advantage of the garden and enjoy alfresco dining, eating a delicious traditional Cumbrian breakfast whilst absorbing the wonderful surroundings. There is also an extensive cold table offering all the foods you would expect. All ingredients are locally sourced to ensure the best quality including an endless supply of fresh coffee and a variety of teas.
