By Rail. lancaster is on the West Coast Main Line. 2 Hrs from Glasgow, 3 Hrs from London Euston, 20 Minutes from Preston. Hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from station. By Road from North. Exit M6 at J34, turn left at traffic signals onto A583. After 1 mile bear left onto Caton Rd. Past Shell petrol Station, bear left signposted City Centre. Turn left onto A6, signed City Centre take righthand lane signposted The North M6. Turn left into Henry street, left into Aldcliffe Road, left into Penny Street. By Road from South Exit M6 at J33,at roundabout turn right onto A6. Pass through Galgate pass the University following signs for City Centre Lancaster. At Roundabout take 2nd exit towards City Centre, pass hospital over the canal bridge and arrive at Penny Street.

Good central location.
Clean comfortable and contemporary room.
Good food and good bar.
Parking is an issue but happy to accept that for the central location.
Will stay again.

Had to raise the porter by doorbell as we were very late arriving; room and en-suite were lovely. Actually getting to the hotel was very difficult, even though we had it in our sights quite a number of times as we went around and round the one way system. Parking was the really big disadvantage. Four places for the whole hotel....

A great place to stay - not far from anywhere in Lancaster that you will want to go. Very friendly staff, great rooms and a good atmosphere in the bar. Breakfast is good too.
