From the A24 take the northbound carriageway from the Washington roundabout - direction Horsham. (If you are travelling south on the A24 at the Washington roundabout go round the roundabout and procede north). After 1 mile exit the A24 at the Ashington off-ramp, turn left towards Ashington village. At first mini roundabout turn left (follow tourist brown sign "Mill House"). After 150yards take the left fork. At 100yards go straight into Mill Lane (this is an unmade lane between hedgerows) - follow tourist brown sign "Mill House". We are 100yards along Mill Lane on the left hand side.

Very friendly and informal and excellent service. Nice clean room - probably one of the most comfortable I've stayed in this year in fact and the food, I only wish I could have sampled more from the menu!

Rooms very shabby, bedroom very grubby - waste bins unemptied and food in chest of drawers. Restaurant good.
