Directions to Staying Cool @ Hill Quays Deansgate, Manchester
on foot from Piccadilly Station Walk out of the former main entrance to the station (the exit that is at the far right hand corner of the station as you exit the platform, NOT the taxi or car park exits). Walk down the ramp and keep walking straight ahead, passing Malmaison and then Piccadilly Gardens on your left, then Debenhams on your right. Walk down pedestrianised Market Street, cross Cross Street (Marks and Spencer will be on your right), continue straight ahead and then turn left onto Deansgate, just after Paperchase. Continue on this side of the road, past Kendals on your right, at least two Starbucks, the Great Northern Warehouse, the Hilton Hotel and Deansgate station. Cross the final road towards Atlas Bar and turn left down the pedestrianised road with the bicycle artwork, passing Love Saves the Day (great deli) on your left and turn first left down Little Peter Street. Jordan Street is the second road on the right. Hill Quays is the only building on the road. The entrance to your apartment is the very first one (on your left), just before Drum Beat’s offices. By taxi Hill Quays is a new development so some taxi drivers may not know where it is. Just tell them that it’s on Jordan Street, just off Little Peter Street, behind Atlas Bar, off Deansgate. The entrance to your apartment is the very first one (on your left), just before Drum Beat’s offices. by car from M56: At M56 junction 3 keep in right-hand lane (signposted city centre). Continue straight along this road towards the city centre until it becomes Princess Parkway and then Princess Road (A5103) and you are in Manchester. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Medlock Street (signposted city centre, G Mex centre). Continue straight ahead onto Albion Street, then turn left onto Whitworth Street West (B6469). At the traffic lights turn left onto Bridgewater Viaduct which becomes Great Bridgewater Street. Turn left onto Deansgate. Continue straight ahead at the next set of lights (Atlas bar is on the corner) and then turn first left down Commercial Street. Ideally you want to turn right into Peter Street but the one way system won’t allow you to. So drive past it and take the next right, then the second turning on the right down a really short, narrow street called Bugle Street. When you emerge, Hill Quays is straight ahead of you. The entrance to your apartment is the very first one (on your left), just before Drum Beat’s offices. from M602: At the end of the M602 follow the signs straight ahead to Manchester city centre and keep going until you see a sign for Old Trafford (at the A56/Deansgate junction/Mancunian Way junction) where you bear left. Turn left at the roundabout, along Deansgate towards the city centre. After 100m take the first turning on the right down Commercial Street.

Great apartments in a very handy spot for exploring Manchester. Design and finishing of the whole apartment was top class, with the flat screen TV's and sound systems in all rooms a definite winner! Extra touches like soaps, creams etc very nice. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and will be back next time I'm in Manchester. |
