When we arrived they tried to pretend they only had one room, so we would have to share a room (at £5 discount). We had to come back a couple of times (every hour) until they finally gave us two rooms. |

Basic Three star hotel centrally located in Sultanahmet. The room was clean but the hotel could have improved on the bathroom cleaning. We had a a difficult time getting toliet paper and the towels were not clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Good hotel rates. |

As usual in Turkey, on arrival they deny you have booking. Then they said, "Please wait while we prepare your room" (it was 8pm). They gave me a cup of tea and I waited in foyer. At 9pm I went to complain, they said, "Sorry, we forgot about you" and gave me keys. Room was in middle of being refurbished. I complained - they said only room, we'll move you tomorrow. Next room was a bit better, but quality of refurbishment was bad. Lights didn't work. Breakfast was poor by Turkish standards. There was just olives, cheese, meat. They'd run out of tomato, cucumber & egg - I asked for some, but none came. This is not really a tourist hotel. |
