Our rooms are simple but clean and spacious with TV's and tea and coffee making facilities, and we offer a very competitive bed and breakfast rate. Perfect for those wanting to break the journey across the border, and an ideal base too for those wishing to stay around and explore Northumberland. We've asked many people what they want from their accommodation, and we tend to find that generally value for money, cleanliness and well maintained comes top of the list. We'd like to add 'convenience' to that list too - There is a seperate room for you to spend the night relaxing and then off to bed ready for another day, which of course starts with a hearty Northumbrian breakfast, also weather permitting, you can use the pleasent garden area to sit in..
Alnwick Gardens are a must and only a short walk away, also the castle is within walking disatnce, or you can have a drive to Bonny Scotland 22 mile away.

Friendly, clean and comfortable but the main plus is that the accomodation comprises both a bedroom and a separate sitting room with TV so there's room to relax. There are lots of thoughtful touches - a box of chocolate biscuits (twix, time out etc), tea/coffee facilities, microwave, books, good range of toiletries, iron and ironing board etc. There were some negatives though - the metal base of the bed squeaked and creaked every time my wife or I turned, so our sleep was quite disturbed. The cooked breakfast was brought through without notice or being asked what we wanted, and the sausage was unpleasant pasty variety. However these were outweighed by the many positives. This would be a good base if staying for more than one night (if they replace or fix that bed....)

Great location with easy acces to town centre - breakfast in the morning was really welcome. Located in quite residential area, with facilities in walking distance, greta place to stay and visit Alnwick
