STUNNING B & B (although 'B&B' doesn't do it justice!) - we stay at 5 star B&Bs frequently but this place really is a cut above the rest! Every aspect perfect. Wonderful hosts, BEAUTIFUL suite (you have to see it to believe it! Ogston Suite), great breakfast (specially catered for due to my strict dietry requirements), great facilities (lots of board games, books, dvds, cd's, conservatory with telescope, wooden deck where red squirells play! This is what Scottish hospitality SHOULD be! |

Absolutely wonderful guest house with lots of extra special touches. Fresh flowers & chocolates in the rooms, decanter of port, loads of clean, fluffy towels - the owners had thought of everything. A very warm welcome from Rebecca and a great recommendation for dinner (Victoria Restaurant - good honest food at a very reasonable price). Lots of lovely walks nearby. We only stayed for one night, but wish it had been longer. We will definitely be back- soon. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. |

Definitely luxury bed and breakfast. Traditional Deeside shooting lodge in peaceful forested location a few miles from Ballater. We arrived to a friendly reception and were shown to our upstairs room with separate (enormous) bathroom. The room was big and elegantly furnished with a view over the forest to the hills beyond. The public areas were also furnished and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide selection of high quality options. |

Only one thing can be said about Glendavon House. SUPERB!!. The warmest of welcomes and most wonderful setting for a relaxing stay. Charles and Camilla staying down the road in Balmoral would not have been more comfortable and looked after so well as we were on our recent stay at Glendavon. Next time we will stay longer. |
