Grassmarket Central Apartment

Buona posizione anche se abbastanza rumorosa. Migliorabile la pulizia dell'appartamento. Problemi con il WC. Consigliabile a gruppi di giovani non esigenti.

Apartment was a good size for a family, unfortuantely it is situated quite near to a nightclub and therefore was noisy late at night, so not ideal for very young children. Perfectly situated for the Castle and a short walk to the city centre.

Apart from not being able to park near the building this was an ideally located apartment in the heart of the city. Clean, spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Located in a courtyard it was quiet at night and there was plenty of choice for eating out.

noisey neighbours, drunks trying to get in the front door at three in the morning, no instructions to operate heating and no hot water, when we arrived the floor was still wet from being cleaned very recently but no hot water, the shower was filthy in the corners. it is not mentioned that there is a nightclub 30 seconds away and to come back to the apartment dodging vomit, drunks and hearing the music til late in the night is and never will be mintioned.;

Fantastic location at the foot of the Grassmarket and Victoria Street, ideally situated for getting around Edinburgh. Lovely and clean.
Downsides were that we didn't have any access details sent to us so had to make several calls to get these and, even , more importantly, the bedrooms back onto a live music venue that goes on until the early hours of the morning. Not a problem if you are taking advantage of Edinburgh's nightlife, but not great if you have kids!
