My only negative was the rooms do need a revamp but with a "To Let" sign up and and leaflets around the place apologising for its shabiness due to awaiting new owners you are aware beforehand.
Food was okay staff friendly and helpful.
Pub needs bar customers!!!

I believe the hotel has been recently sold and th eprevious owners did no decorating. The standard of the rooms was absolutely appalling and the bathroom totally disgusting and to be asked to pay the full rate was adding insult to injury.
I sincerely hope the new owners do some serious redecorating very soon , if they don't I can't imagine them being in business long!!

The rooms could do with a reburbishment. But saying that they are clean, spacious and very comfortable. There was a note in the room stating that the corporate owners were in the process of trying to sell so will not spend any money on decorating. With this in mind DO NOT let this putting you off in booking. You will enjoy yhe stay.
Food as on previous stays value for money, well presented, ample and very friendly staff.
I will be staying here again.
