Model Farm

GATEHOUSE LODGE, TOFTSHAW LANE, BRADFORD

Model Farm is set in the heart of the countryside only 3 miles from the centre of Bradford and just on the edge of the beautiful village of East Bierley. The working farm is built of handmade red bricks - the only farm in this area of its kind as most other local farms are built of Yorkshire stone.


We currently have four refurbished bedrooms available all with an en-suite bathroom, two of which have a state of the art multi-jet shower cubicle. Each room has a flat screen T.V. and tea & coffee making facilities + hairdryer. Wi Fi is available for your use in all rooms.
Plenty of private, secure car parking is available for your convenience. We also have a communal lounge with extensive entertainment facilities and garden area for guests to use.

We are in easy reach of Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Shipley and Wakefield and a stepping stone to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Allan and Beata are great hosts. The lounge and the log fire are very welcoming. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Sunday morning speciality pancakes were great as are the peacocks and the dog who welcomes you as you get out of your car !!

The Twin Room we stayed in was well equipped and clean, but unfortunately it was quite cold as the radiators were only slightly warm. Also the duvets were quite thin so on the frostly nights it was cold. Otherwise the lounge was lovely and we had a great breakfast.
