I had read previous reviews about Y Gwynedd and wasn't really expecting much - all I really needed was somewhere to crash out after walking / mountain biking etc. However, I was pleasantly surprised overall. The staff were all friendly, the room was comfortable and airy if a little basic and the food in the bar was great - the beer was very good too, I can recommend the Boddingtons. |

Absolutely appalling. Had to clean the shower 'cupboard' before we could use it. Tatty, grubby and grossly over-priced. Looking forward to going the Llanberis again but certainly not at this place. |
