22 Mill Street

22 MILL STREET, NEWTON ABBOT

This hotel/restaurant/bar is an absolute hidden gem. Unbelievably still ‘undiscovered’ it brings an air of intimacy, a feeling of being ‘in the know’. Exposed-stone interiors blend compatibly with polished wood flooring. Warm, beige walls exude a homely atmosphere. Heavy, luxurious quilting provides a snug night’s sleep. Our exquisite restaurant is undoubtedly the jewel in our crown serving an eclectic, locally-sourced menu surrounded by original art, in front of a roaring fire. We challenge you to not fall in love with us!

Food - both 'traditional' and vegetarian - outstanding. Staff extremely friendly, considerate and helpful. Minor issue - room a little cool on a cold winter's evening.

Excellent food and a very friendly and efficient service. We stayed for 4 nights and would certainly stay again. Parking in Chagford is limited but this is to be expected in Devon. The town car park is close and safe. The room was spacious and this hotel is to be recommended.
