Hotel was lovely and good value for money. Some issues with the electronic keys not working on the second day - but the staff were helpful in this regard notwithstanding the inconvinience. Room was good size, clean and good for the price. Bar food was good and lovely ambiance. Did not eat in the restaurant. Would definitley go again. |

We were extremely impressed with this hotel, especially considering the price. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and whilst it is close to Dublin you feel you could be a million miles away from it all! Our room was a refurbished room in the main part of the building and, in our opinion, was of 4 star quality. There is some extension building work going on but it didn't affect our stay. The food in both The Cellar Bar and the breakfast in the main Resturant was excellent (the buffet breakfast had an excelent choice and the food was both high quality and hot). The Cellar Bar food was not cheap but the portions were very good making it value for money. The service received from all staff was excellent and everyone appeared happy in their woek. |
